Most comparison sites add up shelf prices. Your true total also includes:
- Quantities – 3 tins means 3 tins, and pack sizes are converted (e.g. a 4-pack vs singles).
- Multibuy deals – "3 for £5" is applied when your quantities qualify. We'll also tell you when adding one more item unlocks a deal.
- Loyalty prices – Clubcard, Nectar and other member prices, but only for cards you say you have.
- Delivery charges and minimum spends – for online shopping, we add the typical delivery charge and flag if you're under the store's minimum spend.
- Missing items – shown separately so a store with gaps never looks cheaper than it really is.
