- Add your items. Search for the things you normally buy and set how many you need.
- Choose how strict to be. For each item, pick exact brand, same quality (our default – allows a supermarket's own-label equivalent of the same quality) or cheapest of any kind.
- Tell us how you shop. In-store or online delivery, and which loyalty cards you have.
- Compare. We work out the true total at each supermarket – including multibuy deals, loyalty prices, delivery charges and minimum spends – and rank them.
If a store doesn't sell something on your list we say so clearly, and that store drops below the stores that have everything, so you're always comparing like-for-like.
